We offer opportunities in Engineering & Supply Chain ranging from entry-level to senior-level positions in areas such as technicians, engineers, and senior management roles.

 

 

Types of positions:

Permanent / Direct-hire:

Permanent Hire / Direct-Hire with an iMPact Client.  In a Direct-Hire situation, also called a Permanent Hire, you will be employed and receive your salary plus benefits from your new employer.  While iMPact Business Group will assist you in interviewing with our client, in this model you will become an employee of our client.

Contract / Contract-to-hire:

As a Contractor, you will be working on Assignment for an iMPact Client. This may include either an on-site or remote consulting assignment.  Most contract roles have a duration of 3-12+ months.  In this case, you will be employed by and receive your salary and benefits (eligible after 90 days) from iMPact Business Group.  Contract roles may also lead to a Permanent Hire position at the Client you are supporting, or upon completion of one contract, may lead to additional contracting opportunities.

These positions are responsible for coordinating efforts in the company and managing projects that consist of working on the design and operation of integrated systems for the production of high-quality, economically competitive products. You will be required to work in a manufacturing setting which could be automobile, medical device, furniture, aerospace/defense, or custom manufacturing environments.  For these positions, we are routinely seeking ISO 9001, TS 16949, process improvements/continuous improvements, lean manufacturing, gage/fixture/equipment design, concept to launch, PFMEA, and GD&T.

  • Quality Manager
  • Quality Engineer
  • Quality Technician

These positions focus on designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.  For these positions, we are routinely seeking Quality professionals at all levels such as Quality Managers, Quality Supervisors, Advanced Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers, Customer Quality Engineers, and Quality Technicians.  These positions may include ISO 9001, TS 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, PPAP’s, APQP, PFMEA’s, Audits, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, and Gage R&R.

  • Controls Engineer
  • Controls Technicians
  • Machine Builder
  • Automation Technicians

These positions will involve knowledge with PLC’s, troubleshooting, PLC Programming, Robot Programming, automation interfacing, networking, creating electrical schematics, and managing large-scaled projects.  A Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s degree in electrical engineering may be required in these types of positions.

These positions are actively involved in daily operations as well as the company’s long-range and short-term plans.  At some larger plants these positions may be assigned to manage one area or one specific shift.  These positions typically consist and support lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement.  All positions are involved in the safety of employees where knowledge and practice in health, safety, and environmental policies/procedures may be required.
